Brianna posted pictures of the couple’s interactions on Friday. The pair is seen eating lunch with friends and family in one of the pictures. In another, her two children, Kynlee and Kajwere, are having fun in the water beside their father.

“Life,” Brianna captioned the photo.

Mookie Betts and Brianna Betts, née Hammonds, are longtime friends from their teenage years spent in middle school.

The couple tied the knot in December 2021 after welcoming their first child, daughter Kynlee Ivory Betts, in November 2018. The family expanded in April 2023 with the arrival of Kaj Lynn Betts, a son.

Mookie Betts’ recuperation is progressing nicely; he batted and performed some field repetitions.

The Athletic’s Fabian Ardaya reported on July 22 that Mookie Betts was cleared to begin hitting.

Before Friday’s game over the Houston Astros, Betts spoke with Kirsten Watson about his recuperation. Betts stated his recuperation is progressing well despite missing baseball games.

Betts said, “I feel good,” to Watson. “Everything is moving along nicely. It seems like ages since I last played baseball. I’m having some fun relearning position despite the inevitable bumps and bruises. Simply said, I’m glad to be back in the field.”

On Monday, Betts started a rehab assignment where he made some infield exercises and swung some balls.

“I’ve gotten to swing a little bit, hitting the little, the rubber balls, and then eventually move into some tennis balls and then baseballs and what not,” he stated.”I just want to make sure that my hand is okay with each stroke I take. Nothing is happening that may hinder the healing process, not even vibrations.”

Mookie Betts was putting on a show from the leadoff position, hitting.304 with 10 home runs, nine steals, and 40 RBIs prior to going on the disabled list. When the two-time World Series champion and former MVP rejoins the lineup, the Dodgers will gain an additional advantage.
