The 2024 EuroLeague Final Four is undoubtedly the biggest event in European basketball, but this likely isn’t the case for Serbia.

Serbian national team star Nikola Jokic concluded his 2023-24 season with the Denver Nuggets, leaving questions about his participation in the Paris Olympics.

“I don’t know, my friend, we will see,” Jokic remarked after the Game 7 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves. “I need to think about it.”

Despite some reports claiming that Jokic had decided to play for his national team, Serbia’s head coach, Svetislav Pesic, denied these rumors.

“A Twitter journalist published fake news… When the time comes, you will get real information,” Pesic told B92.sport.
