Wyatt Langford, a newcomer to Major League Baseball and a member of the Texas Rangers, is quickly making a name for himself. Despite being only a month into his MLB career after a rapid rise through the minor leagues, Langford is already showing his potential, which caught the attention of the Rangers. 

While he hasn’t fully unleashed his home run-hitting abilities, which he displayed during his time at the University of Florida, his performance in the minors and spring training has been impressive. In his first 29 games, Langford has a .239 batting average, including three doubles, a triple, and an exciting inside-the-park home run. 

He has also demonstrated good plate discipline, drawing 11 walks and striking out 26 times. The Rangers’ management is not concerned about his slow start in terms of power hitting, as they believe he is just getting started and that his power will become more consistent over time.
