Travis d’Arnaud, the catcher for the Atlanta Braves, is Һitting home runs seemingly at will and is in unbelievable form. He Һit his fifth home run of the season on Monday night, and he’s already Һit four in the previous four games.
At Truist Park, the Braves defeated the Miami Marlins 3-0 thanks to his home run. In the fourth, D’Arnaud launched a two-run home run to start the scoring. In just eight at-bats, he blasted three home runs on Friday, one on Saturday, and one on Monday.
D’Arnaud spoke with the MLB Network after the game and discussed his home run fest.
“I hope this is something that everyone gets to see. I have no idea what’s happening. I’m admitting to everyone that I’m blacked out. “I’m simply enjoying this moment, man,” d’Arnaud replied.Travis d’Arnaud also discussed the Braves offense’s faith, which has aided them thus far this year.
“It’s probably faith in the man guiding you. Not too much work needs to be done. “You know the guy behind you is going to have a good day if one guy doesn’t have a good day,” d’Arnaud remarked. Thus, we are under much less pressure. We have excellent communication regarding what we observe in both our own mechanics and those of the opposition pitchers. Thus, it’s a lot of fun to participate in and the communication is excellent.”
This season’s debut major league start for Bryce Elder was praised by Travis d’Arnaud.
After being called up from Triple-A Gwinnett earlier in the day, Bryce Elder pitched 6.2 innings while shutting out the Marlins offense.
He had four strikeouts, eight hits allowed, and no walks. Regarding Elder’s origins, Travis d’Arnaud said as follows:
“He was working quickly and had good command. There was nobody he was terrifieԀ of. He was going after me𝚗. Because of his fast sinker, we were able to use both of his off-speed pitches and his sneaky four seam. “So, we were able to throw out a lot of different combinations to keep them off balance and he did a tremendous job today,” the manager continued. The Braves increased their record to 15-6 with the victory, securing their lead in the NL East. The second-place Philadelphia Phillies, who are 15-8, are not far behind them.
