Among those sent to Minor League camp were Matt Gage, Andy Lipcius, Kevin Gowdy, Elieser Hernández, Dalton Rushing, Trey Sweeney, Austin Gauthier, Drew Avans, José Ramos, and Ryan Ward.

The Dodgers are scheduled to play their final Cactus League game on Wednesday and will need to make additional cuts ahead of traveling to South Korea for the Seoul Series from March 20–21. “Wednesday, at some point, we’ve got to identify 31 players to bring with us,” manager Dave Roberts said.

“And at that point in time, you get to choose your 29 (for the active roster and taxi squad). Twenty-six will be active for the first two games, the real games.”

The Dodgers will be permitted to bring 31 players to South Korea, but only 26 can be active for their two-game series against the San Diego Padres, with another three making up their taxi squad.

After facing the Padres in South Korea, the Dodgers will return to Southern California for their annual exhibition Freeway Series against the Los Angeles Angels to close out spring training.

L.A. will then resume their 2024 regular season with a seven-game homestand against the St. Louis Cardinals and San Francisco Giants.

As the Dodgers look to further trim their spring training roster by Wednesday, Emmet Sheehan, Brusdar Graterol, and James Paxton are among the players who will not be with the team.

Sheehan is going to begin the 2024 season on the 15-day injured list due to being slowed by right shoulder soreness last month, and Graterol has been ruled out from pitching in the Seoul Series because of hip tightness and shoulder discomfort. Paxton is healthy but not making the trip as he won’t be throwing in the series.

Other non-roster players who will likely be moved off the Dodgers spring training roster include Nabil Crismatt, T.J. McFarland, Chris Okey, Jonathan Araúz, and Kevin Padlo.
