Commercial cameos are nothing new for Anthony Davis. The NBA has been Anthony Davis’s home for the past twelve years. He is a nine-time All-Star and has a stellar reputation as a defensive player in the NBA. Given his star power, many corporations are interested in having Davis promote their products through television, print, and social media.

Indeed, Davis has been in several of the most entertaining basketball commercials that viewers have seen on television.

An up-and-coming advertising star in the early 2010s caught the eye of several companies after becoming an All-Star in just his second season on the job. Foot Locker was featured in one of his earlier advertisements.

Davis and Harden were both in their youth when he made his debut commercial for Foot Locker.

James Harden, when playing for the Houston Rockets, was a major star in the NBA at the time. In the commercial, James suggested that he was more famous than AD, which made him think that going to Foot Locker disguised as “The Brow” would keep the admirers and paparazzi at arm’s length. The defensive prowess of Anthony Davis was showcased in his second Foot Locker commercial.

The commercial began with a youngster fantasizing about making the game-winning shot at the buzzer while he played basketball in his garage. Davis ran onto the scene and blocked the youngster’s shot just as he was about to take it. After that, AD jogged away slowly, chanting “MVP” as if nothing had transpired. While “The Brow” has been in numerous ads, his work for Foot Locker was particularly hilarious. Now we’re in the present, and he gets to share the limelight with Austin Reaves, another one of the LA Lakers’ budding stars.
