The signing of Shohei Ohtani by the Los Angeles Dodgers was a tremendous coup, but the team has yet to experience the full impact of the two-way superstar’s play.

Ohtani will miss the 2024 season as he continues to heal from surgery on his right elbow that he had last September. Some have said it’s a second Tommy John procedure, but Ohtani and agent Nez Balelo have denied (without providing evidence) that this is the case.
