Shohei Ohtani’s off-field glitz is on full display because to his long-running partnership with Hugo Boss

Baseball fans were taken aback when Shohei Ohtani, a promising Japanese two-way player, astonished everyone by accepting the AL MVP trophy in English earlier this week.

The new Dodgers player has been a Hugo Boss model for a while, in addition to his impressive on-field performances. Ohtani posed for a photoshoot with the high-end fashion house that is a part of Boss Sports not long after becoming the American League MVP for the second time.

Ohtani signed with the Los Angeles Angels in 2018 after five years in Japan’s National Pro Baseball League, and he has since taken baseball by storm in Major League Baseball. His record-breаking salary as a free agent for the Dodgers was fueled by his status as perhaps the best player in baseball.

He intends to change that with his new squad, despite having won nearly every individual accolade that is possible.

Modeling is another of Ohtani’s interests; she has done work for Hugo Boss, a legendary fashion house. In 2020, he was launched as a Boss model. The next year, in 2022, he won his first AL MVP and went on to do another shoot. A few days after taking home his second AL MVP trophy, he’s right back to work for Boss as the face of their newest sports product launch.

Joe Kelly’s wife receives a new Prosche from Shohei Ohtani, a new teammate

In an unprecedented 10-year, $700 million deal, Japanese baseball sensation Shohei Ohtani joined the Los Angeles Dodgers this offseason, much to the delight of both fans and players in Los Angeles. It may have been problematic to keep the No. 17 shirt he wore during his Major League Baseball career, especially since Joe Kelly has been donning it for the Dodgers.

But Ohtani was happy to trade numbers with his new teammate, and he showed his appreciation by giving Ashley, Kelly’s wife, a Porsche.
