Two bobblehead nights are part of four promotional freebies centered on Shohei Ohtani that the Los Angeles Dodgers are running this season.
The Dodgers announced on Wednesday that the first forty thоusand fans at a May 16 game against Cincinnati will receive Ohtani bobbleheads, and during the July 22 game against San Francisco, the first thirty thоusand fans will receive an Ohtani cap. Ohtani shirts will be available against Colorado on September 21, and there will be another bobblehead night on August 28 versus Baltimore.
In December, Ohtani and the Dodgers reached a record-setting agreement: a 10-year, $700 million contract.
Yoshinobu Yamamoto, a right-hander, has agreed to a 12-year, $325 million deal. His bobblehead night is June 13 against Texas.
Tyler Glasnow (June 1), Bobby Miller (July 3), Jason Heyward (July 6), Will Smith (May 18), Mookie Betts (May 21), Walker Buehler (April 20), Brusdar Graterol (April 13), and Tyler Freeman are among the other highlighted bobbleheads this season.
Joe Kelly of the Dodgers Displays the New Porsche That Shohei Ohtani Gave Him
At the Jack in the Box in Ontario, California, on Wednesday, things were anything but typical.
Joe Kelly, a relief pitcher for the Dodgers, drove into the parking lot in the brand-new Porsche that his wife had received as a gift from Shohei Ohtani.
The Dodgers Love L.A. Community Tour included his appearance.
Joe Kelly’s video showing his wife Ashley outside their home in a brand-new sports automobile went viral on Christmas Eve.
Throughout the afternoon, fans shared images of Kelly at the fast food business and the car on social media.
From 2019 to his first season (2020–2021) with the Dodgers, Kelly became an instant fan favorite.
For this season, he will wear jersey number 99 instead of number 17, after he traded it in for Ohtani. On Tuesday, June 11, fans will have a chance to win a home jersey of Joe Kelly, which will be their No. 99 jersey for the season. Regrettably, a Porsche will not be included.
