On Monday’s episode of the Talkin’ Yanks podcast, Aaron Boone, manager of the New York Yankees, stated that when slugger Aaron Judge is performing at his peak, he has no plans to rest him.

Last year, the team captain and 31-year-old slugger got off to a great start before a slew of ailments cut into his playing time. Boone, however, stated that he does not think it is necessary to rest Judge unless he is nursing an ιnjury when questioned about his stance on resting players throughout the season.

Aaron Judge debuted in the major leagues in 2016 after being picked by the New York Yankees in the 2013 Major League Baseball Draft. Following that, in 2022, he had a historic season that solidified his position as one of the game’s all-time great hitters. In 2022, he won the American League MVP award and broke the MLB record for most home runs in a season.

Although Judge has a history of ιnjury problems, he is clearly a candidate for MVP if he can remain healthy throughout the season. When asked about taking breaks for his players, Aaron Boone mentioned that Jaudge could play through many mentаl hurdles without missing a beаt.
