Giants player opens up on his frustration with Ohtani and Yamamoto’s signings with the Los Angeles Dodgers

The enormous sum the Los Angeles Dodgers have spent on reinforcements has apparently not gone down well with everyone.

According to Al Bat, San Francisco Giants standout pitcher Logan Webb discussed the Dodgers’ trade for Shohei Ohtani, Yoshinobu Yamamoto, and Tyler Glasnow.

I had my share of angry and irritated momešš—ts during the offseason. You should avoid these mešš— at all costs. You find one aspect of their personality repulsive. ā€œI am unable to provide an explanation,ā€ Webb explained.

Can anyone tell me how much the Dodgers have spent in the offseason?

Additionally, the 27-year-old starter stated that several Giants players have texted their disapproval of the Dodgers’ billiŠ¾n-dollar offseason expenditures.

“Everyone texted the other. It was unpleasant for us. Now is the time to deal with it. “We simply need to play our game and give it our all to compete and win,” he stated.

While speaking with KNBR, a radio station in San Francisco, Logan Webb made the confessions.

Reinforcements for Dodgers exceed one billiŠ¾n

The Dodgers became the first sports franchise to spend over a billiŠ¾n dollars on reinforcements when they signed Shohei Ohtani and Yoshinobu Yamamoto, two of Japan’s most valuable free agents. Now that they’re back on track, they have the players to close gaps, have power at the plate and in the outfield, and hopefully compete for the World Series next season.

The Japanese agreed to postpone 680 million dollars, even though Ohtani signed a 700 million dollar contract for 10 seasons.

In doing so, he ensured that the team had the financial resources to keep adding players like Teoscar Hernandezā€”a right-handed power hitter who can help manager Dave Roberts counter left-handed pitchersā€”and others like Yamamoto, Tyler Glasnow, and Manuel Margot.
