Dante Exum exit the game against the Utah Jazz due to a heel injury as Mavs fall to 90 – 127 against Jazz

Dante Exum, formerly of the Utah Jazz, made his return to Salt Lake City on Monday night as a member of the Dallas Mavericks. However, his reunion was cut short due to a heel injury. Exum, who had been listed as questionable before the game, played through the injury in the first half but was ultimately forced to leave the game. The Mavericks have stated that he will not be able to return.

This season, Exum has been enjoying a resurgence in his NBA career after spending the past two years playing overseas. In 29 games, he has been averaging 9.5 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game, while shooting an impressive 57.4 percent overall and 45.2 percent from beyond the arc.

Speaking about his return to Utah, Exum expressed his fondness for the city and the Jazz organization, stating that it will always hold a special place in his heart. Despite not being able to complete his homecoming on the court, Exum showcased his skills in the limited time he played, scoring four points and dishing out three assists on 2-3 shooting from the field in just 12 minutes of action.
