Jordan’s jersey number is displayed at the Miami Heat team’s room of honor in addition to the Bulls squad.

In addition, the Miami Heat showed such reverence for Jordan that they desired to retire his jersey number, so denying any other player the opportunity to wear it. Some players, nevertheless, don’t agree with this change. O’Neal states that it is improper to hang a player’s jersey outside of the team if you have never participated in games for the squad.
