Jimmy Butler, a six-time NBA All-Star and cover star of Haute Living’s 100 Most Influential Athletes, was honored with an intimate dinner last night at El Tucan, a popular Miami location, following Wednesday evening’s tҺrilling Miami Heat game. Three years have passed since Butler became a more integral part of the Miami Heat’s success in the Magic City. This meant that the party that night would be unlike any other.
While perusing the exclusive mezzanine illuminated by TAG Heuer’s vitrines, visitors were served espresso martinis made with Butler’s innovative coffee brand, Big Face Coffee, and a custom cocktail made especially for The Macallan. The vitrines displayed a collection of timepieces from TAG Heuer, including the Monza, Carrera Porsche Chronograph Lava Orange, Monaco Dark Lord, and Carrera Porsche RS 2.7 in red and black. The atmosphere was exciting all night long as attendees savored the opportunity to pay tribute to the iconic basketball player.
The CEO of Haute Media Group, Kamal Hotchandani, welcomed guests and expressed gratitude to the event’s sponsors, including TAG Heuer, The Macallan, Maison Mura, and Butler, who serves as an ambassador for the brand, before the multi-course dinner began. Since this is Butler’s second cover for the magazine, Hotchandani took the opportunity to congratulate her and discuss their longstanding friendship.
After that, he presented Katie Nahat, national brand ambassador of The Macallan, who expressed gratitude to everyone who had come and hinted at a guided tasting of The Macallan M that would take place after dinner.
After that, there was an intimate supper where guests enjoyed El Tucan’s famous specialties with wines from Maison Mura, a renowned winery in Miami. Artist Vic Garcia stunneԀ Jimmy Butler after dinner with a one-of-a-kind piece of artwork titled “Jimmy’s World,” which reflected his professional and personal life. In the following round, Nahat and Butler accompanied the visitors on a sampling of The Macallan M.
The room was electric with Butler’s contagious energy as attendees mingled, sipped on unique cocktails, and finally raised a glass to Butler’s impact on Miami.
Franck Suznjevic, TAG Heuer’s VP of retail in the Americas, Matthieu Yamoum and Philippe Vasilescu, Maison Mura’s co-owners, Matthew Chevallard, Oren Alexander, Sean Wolfington, John Utendahl and Radmila Lolly, and many more were among the notable attendees.
