Shohei looks like a natural quarterback as he gets star treatment at the Rams game

The Los Angeles Rams’ home stadium, SoFi Stadium, took on the nаme ShoFi for a single night.

Being a two-way superstar is nothing new to you when it comes to Shohei Ohtani. But if you’ll excuse us, take a magical moment to picture Ohtani as a superstar in not one but two sports.

Of course, this will never happen, but the Hollywood treatment that Ohtani received before the Rams’ Thursday Night Football game against the Saints gave fans a taste of what he could look like on the field. Just one week after trying on the blue and white jersey for the first time, the newly signed Dodgers star got to roam the sidelines and was given a No. 17 blue and gold one.

On the sidelines, Ohtani was seen attempting to get a good hold on the shoelaces as he was greeted by Rams players and their mascot, Rаmpаge. While it may not be identical to his nasty sweeper grip, Ohtani appeared to be catching on fast, thanks in part to what appeared to be some advice from his agent, Nez Balelo.

We can only speculate as to how far Ohtani can throw the football as there is no video of him really trying. I have no doubt that Matthew Stafford, quarterback for the Rams, would be more than happy to instruct Ohtani. Stafford was a boyhood buddy and teammate of the legendary Clayton Kershaw of the Dodgers.

Afterwards, Ohtani went to a suite to watch the game. During the broadcast, he was seen wearing the new Rams jersey under his stylish leather jacket.

The question posed by color analyst Kirk Herbstreit was, “How excited is Los Angeles to have him?” “He’s been in Anaheim, and now he’s a Dodger.”

The play-by-play man, Al Michaels, made a joke about how Dodger fans are more enthusiastic than Angel fans.
