A look at Aaron Judge’s exercise regimen, which includes core strengthening exercises and the flipping of 600-pound tires

The hero of the New York Yankees stands at a towering two meters and weighs a hefty 128 kilograms.

Not to mention that he uses his towering stature to unleash some of baseball’s most devastating power hitting.

This season, Judge Һit 62 home runs, putting him in MLB records.

He attributes his strength and power to his unexpecteԀ exercise regimen.

Judge discussed his exercise routine with muscleandfitness.com.

Throughout the season, the 30-year-old exercises twice or thrice weekly in preparation for games.

Additionally, he strongly advocates for full-body exercises as opposed to separating them into upper- and lower-body routines.

That way, he can do a full set of reps without feeling like he has to target new muscle groups in each session.

He follows a very different regimen during the baseball offseason.

“During the offseason, I focus on building my base and strength,” he said. Considering how much I move about and my inherent height, I don’t see the necessity to bulk up over the offseason.

My focus is primarily on core and stability when I’m performing heavy lifting, squats, and upper-body exercises. Still, deadlifts are something I’ll do.

I also engage in tire workouts, which involve maneuvers such as flipping large tires weighing 600 pounds.

“I’m trying to maintain that strength in my core, and if I can maintain that I feel like it’ll help my body and help me play a little extra.”

To strengthen and stabilize himself, Judge does a lot of planks and focuses on his core.

In order to hone his focus and coordination, he occasionally enrolls in boxing courses.

However, his exercise regimen now includes Pilates, which is somewhat unexpecteԀ.

A lot of core muscles are engaged by that, the 280-pound celebrity remarked.

Since the Yankees already have a handful Pilates equipment at their practice facility, it is a natural fit.

Being adaptable is the most important thing. Staying fit and on the field is usually within my reach if I maintain a loose, flexible physique with a strong core.I can’t strеss that enough. The act of hitting is really powerful. In my opinion, a weak core is the result of muscles that are overly contracted and tense.

“You’ve got to keep my core strong and flexible and loose to have that explosive movement.”
