Miami Heat Adjusts Roster Prior to Bulls Game

The Miami Heat will play the Chicago Bulls in Florida on Saturday night.

Nikola Jovic from the G League was recalled by the squad prior to the game (via the G League’s official transactions page).

The Heat have also declared that he is free.

With four games played thus far this season, Jovic is averaging 3.5 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game while shooting 42.9% from three-point range and 33.3% from the field.

He is in his second season in the NBA, having entered as the 27th pick in the 2022 Draft (all with the Heat).

This season, the 20-year-old is probably going to spend a lot of time switching between the G League and the NBA.

The Heat, on the other hand, are ranked seventh in the Eastern Conference going into the game after going 14-11 in their first 25 games.

They have dropped their previous 10 games, going 4-6 overall. On Thursday night, they were defeated 124-116 by the Bulls, who are based in Florida.

On Monday night, the Heat will host the Minnesota Timberwolves after the Bulls.

The Heat have played 11 games in Miami, Florida, at home, going 6-5.

The Bulls, meanwhile, are ranked 12th in the Eastern Conference after going 10-16 in their first 26 games.
