Mavs Players Grant Williams and Josh Green Ruled Out Against Blazers

The Dallas Mavericks have announced the absence of Grant Williams (right knee soreness), Josh Green (right elbow sprain), and Maxi Kleber (right toe dislocation) for their upcoming road game against the Portland Trail Blazers, as stated in the NBA injury report.

Kyrie Irving, who made a return for Wednesday’s game after being on the injury report, is not listed for Friday’s game. Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving will lead Dallas as they aim for a second consecutive victory, following a dominant 147-97 win at home on Wednesday. Tim Hardaway Jr., Dereck Lively, and Derrick Jones Jr. will also play crucial roles against Portland.

The absence of Williams, Green, and Kleber will be felt. Williams, in his first season with the Mavs, has provided defensive leadership and contributed offensively with an average of 9.8 points per game. Green, with 18 games played, is averaging 6.9 points and showcasing shooting efficiency.

Kleber, dealing with injury troubles, has played in just five games, averaging 3.4 points per game, but remains a reliable presence in the post and a floor-stretching asset.

The Mavericks hope for a swift return of Williams, Green, and Kleber. In the meantime, they focus on securing a victory against the Blazers in this challenging road clash without these key players.
