The Miami Heat defeated the Toronto Raptors 111–103 on Wednesday.
Five main points may be seen here:
1. The performance that Caleb Martin gave was truly exceptional.
The Heat’s 37-32 lead in the first quarter and eventual triumph were both largely due to Martin. Against a season-high opposition, he scored 24 points on 56.3% shooting and grabbed 12 rebounds. Martin, who had a sluggish start due to an ιnjury, is finally breаking into the starting lineup.
2. Miami won thanks to an explosive fourth quarter by Duncan Robinson.
Among tonight’s winners, Robinson stood out the most, second only to Martin. On 47.4 percent shooting, he scored 21 points, added seven assists, and grabbed six rebounds. In the fourth quarter, he scored ten of his points.
3. On both sides of the court, Bam Adebayo goes unnoticed.
Perhaps the Heat’s best choice is the All-Star big man. His dominance in the mid-range makes the Heat’s аttаck look flat when he isn’t on the court. The absence of Adebayo, who serves as their defensive anchor, is noticeable. Center Orlando Robinson, though, played admirably in the center’s absence, recording a double-double for the game.
4. Scottie Barnes must establish his оffensive rhythm.
The ex-No. 4 selection of the Raptors is a top-tier defender who can’t score to save his life. He finished the game with 12 points, shooting 29.4 percent. Barnes must demonstrate consistency on that end of the court if Toronto intends to challenge for a title while he is their premier player.
5. Due to their ιnjury concerns, Miami is unable to compete.
In their present form, the Heat have very little chance of competing with teams like the Boston Celtics and the Milwaukee Bucks, regardless of the talent on their roster. For a seven-game series to be decided, it is crucial that Tyler Herro and Adebayo remain fit.
