The divorce of Erik Spoelstra and Nikki, the wife of Miami Heat head coach Erik’s wife of seven years, has been confirmed. Fans, who had grown to know Nikki from her rаcy photo posts on social media, were shocked to hear the news.

 

 

 

They released a joint statement to the Miami Herald in which they thanked each other for their love and reaffirmed their intention to share parenting responsibilities for their children.

In a joint petition to officially dissolve our marriage, we have taken the painful but mutually agreeable choice. Our commitment to co-parenting our children and keeping them as our shared priority is unwavering, and we are both thankful for our relationship.

Getting a divorce for the “real reason”

Even though the couple’s reasons for splitting were kept under wraps, followers took to social media to speculate and share their thoughts.

One individual questioned, “Is this the job they’re offering Udonis Haslem in the front office?” while another was more critical, stating, “This year’s dance team must have some serious talent.”

The Miami Heat have won two NBA titles under Erik Spoelstra’s leadership since he took over as head coach in 2008. He first laid eyes on Nikki when she was eighteen years old, performing as a dancer for the Miami group.
