Fangraphs and ESPN have announced their free agent estimates for the next season. It’s therefore time to begin the “Should the Rangers sign this player?” series, in which supporters can express their thoughts through polls conducted throughout the summer. Today, Cody Bellinger of the Chicago Cubs will be our main topic of discussion.
Ben Clemens of Fangraphs estimates that Bellinger’s contract will pay $150 million over about six years. However, the median Crowdsource estimate puts the amount at $144 million, or a little less than six years. ESPN’s Kiley McDaniel projects $147 million over seven years, which puts him in the middle.
In this survey, the crowdsource number, which is the median, will be used.
It’s now your turn to vote down below and express your opinion!
These are the earlier surveys that we carried out:
Josh Hader, Marcus Stroman, Yoshinobu Yamamoto, Jordan Montgomery and Shohei Ohtani
