For an evening on the town, Shakira paired up with NBA superstar Jimmy Butler.

On July 12, the singer of “Whenever, Wherever” and the Miami Heat player went out to a low-key dinner at the Novikov Restaurant & Bar in London.

At the dinner event, Shakira, 46, donned a form-fitting blue blouse and black cargo pants, while Jimmy, 33, opted for a black tee and velvet pants. A crimson bandana was one of the basketball player’s accessories.

An eyewitness informed E! News that Jimmy and Shakira arrived at the restaurant separately, but they were both there within minutes of each other.

“The pair were spotted looking cozy inside the restaurant,” according to them, “as they ordered at one of London’s most popular celebrity restaurants.”

Afterwards, the witness stated that Jimmy’s security detail helped Shakira into her chauffeur-driven vehicle, which was positioned outside the restaurant’s fire exit. A little time later, the sportsman left.

Jimmy and Shakira’s representatives have not responded to E! News’ attempts to contact them.

Shakira moved to Miami from Barcelona a year ago and had a highly publicized breakup with Gerard Piqué, with whom she shares boys Milan, 10, and Sasha, 8. This is her first public appearance since the split.

Shakira and Gerard revealed in a joint statement to E! News that the couple went their separate ways last June after being together for 11 years. “We kindly request that you honor the privacy of our children, as their welfare is our utmost concern,” they stated together at the time. “Thank you for your understanding.”

Concerning Gerard, he has rediscovered love with Clara Chia Marti. Neither the past nor the opinions of his ex-fans bother the former soccer player.
