The 37-year-old MLB pitcher moved from the Los Angeles Dodgers to the New York Yankees after getting a huge three-year deal in December.
Scherzer signed a deal that will pay him $130 million over the next three seasons. This makes him the highest-paid player in MLB history.

It was sold by real estate investor Justin Daniels and his wife, Robin. They bought the house when it was brand new for $8 million.

The Mets player bought the house in June 2020, about 18 months before he signed his huge contract.
And training being so close to where he lives now was a big plus for Scherzer, who told NY Mets owner Steve Cohen on Zoom, “it’s right in my backyard.” There are also three large seating places in the house, and the open-plan kitchen leads to a large living room.
Two of the bedrooms have huge walk-in closets, and the covered patio has air conditioning for those hσt Florida nights.
Scherzer’s cars can fit in a four-car garage, and the MLB pro drove up to lockout talks in a beautiful black Porsche.
Scherzer sold his old house in Los Angeles for $15 million, and he found a buyer within 24 hours of putting it up for sale. His old house was on the Potomac River in West Virginia. The former Dodgers star had done a lot of work on it from the ground up.
