NBA player Steph Curry and his spouse Ayesha Curry recently gave a touching tribute to their oldest daughter Riley on her 11th birthday, July 19.
Riley Curry, the daughter of Steph Curry and Ayesha Curry, is now an adult!
As a matter of fact, on July 19, she turned eleven years old, and to celebrate, her mother posted a touching birthday message on social media.
“Eleven is my firstborn child!” Alongside current images of the tween, Ayesha wrote: It’s unbelievable to us. Time has whizzed by lately. My lovely, intelligent, gifted, and captivating big girl makes me very proud. Being her mother brings me delight. 11 is Riley Roo’s age!
Riley Curry, the older sister of Ryan Curry, age 8, and Canon Curry, age 5, initially captured the hearts of fans when she was just 2 years old. She went viral after she and her dad attended an NBA post-game news conference, interrupting him to tell him to “be quiet” and to stop being so loud.
During an event a few days later, she stole the show once more when she quoted a line from Big Sean’s song “Blessings” into the microphone while sharing the stage with Steph.
Ayesha and Riley, like many other parents, have periodically posted pictures and videos of their children on Instagram over the years. Indeed, Ayesha thought back to Riley’s viral moment over ten years ago.
“Nobody knew what that was going to become when the social media thing started,” the presenter of Ayesha’s Home Kitchen stated in an Insider interview on May 24. “I don’t think we would have done it back then if we had known how chaotic life would be.”

He stated in an article for The Player’s Tribune, “I want our girls to grow up knowing that there are no boundaries that can be placed on their futures, period.” “My goal is for children to grow up in a society where there are no gender-specific expectations for what they should think, be, or do. Additionally, I want kids to grow up thinking that they may pursue professions where they will be treated decently and dream big. Naturally, there will be equal pay.
