A recent Miami Heat player is reportedly signed by the Portland Trail Blazers

Jamaree Bоuyea recently cоmpleted his rооkie campaign in the NBA, appearing in five games fоr the Miami Heat and Washingtоn Wizards.

The 24-year-old shot 33.3% from three-point range and 42.9% from the field to average 3.0 points and 1.2 rebounds per game.

Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium has learned that Bouyea, a free agent, is inking a two-way contract with the Portland Trail Blazers.

According to Charania: “Sources inform @TheAthletic @Stadium that guard Jamaree Bouyea is joining the Portland Trail Blazers to a two-way NBA contract. Bouyea played for G League Sioux Falls last season, averaging 18.6 points and 6.2 assists, while spending portions of the season with the Heat and Wizards.”

Bouyea played a major part of the previous season in the G League, where he averaged 17.8 points, 4.9 rebounds, 6.0 assists, 1.3 steals, and 1.0 blocks per game while shooting 32.9% from three-point range and 55.0% from the field in 23 games during the regular season.

He also made appearances in three G League playoff games and sixteen Showcase Cup games.

The Trail Blazers are currently on a two-game losing streak and have finished 3-5 in their first eight games.

Their most recent defeat came at the hands of the Sacramento Kings, 121-118 (in overtime).

In 46 minutes of play, Jerami Grant scored 38 points, grabbed nine rebounds, dished out five assists, and blocked three shots. He also shot 12/25 from the field and 5/8 from three points.

In California, they will take on the Los Angeles Lakers in their upcoming game on Sunday.
