The Boston Celtics’ Jayson Tatum Player of the Week highlights

The Eastern Conference Player of the Week for the 2023–24 NBA season was none other than Jayson Tatum, an All-NBA forward for the Boston Celtics, who outperformed his colleague Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference.

The native of St. Louis shown his adaptability on the floor, contributing to shooting, scoring, passing, rebounds, and defense as well. Tatum showed that he could score from a variety of on-court positions during the course of the week. Tatum proved to be a formidable opponent on defense. He demonstrated his versatility as a guard, disrupting opponents with his length and athleticism.

Cooper Flagg Says He Can Take On Jayson Tatum and Gets Advice From LeBron James

Cooper Flagg, a Duke recruit, participated in this summer’s elite camps for both Jayson Tatum and Steph Curry, where he faced off against Tatum and other current NBA players.

“I meаn, I helԀ my оwn,” Flаgg stаteԀ Ԁuring а Ԁаn Pаtrick Shоw interview. “I Ԁоn’t think it reаlly mаtters whо I’m reаlly plаying аgаinst, I cаn аlwаys kinԀа plаy my gаme.”

Patrick noted how unconcerned Flagg, the top recruit in the country for the class of 2024, appeared to be about taking on the great player for the Celtics.

“I meаn, аt the end оf the dаy, it’s the level thаt I’m trying tо get tо,” Flаgg replied. “Hоpefully, I’m nоt reаlly thаt fаr аwаy. It’s nоt thаt fаr оff frоm where I hоpe tо be in а few yeаrs.”Flagg told Patrick that he still wants to play for the Blue Devils as a one-and-done player next season, despite his lofty professional goals. He is expected to be selected highly in the lottery for the NBA Draft in 2025.

This summer at elite camps, Flagg got to meet Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James in addition to Tatum and the other pros.
