Jamal Murrah, the point guard for the Denver Nuggets of the NBA, revealed to SiriusXM Sports that he would like to compete in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) if he weren’t on the team.
The 26-year-old Murray is excited about his future in mixed martial arts, having recently started training in the technique. When a reporter joked about the Nuggets player’s interest in mixed martial arts (MMA), the player disclosed his interest.
Because of that ability, if I weren’t a basketball player, I would most definitely start doing mixed martial arts (MMA). “It’s my other love besides martial arts,” as Murray expressed it. “I’m back to working at my real job now.”
Murray just became well-known due to a widely shared video of him wrestling a UFC superstar and almost strangling him.
Not very long ago, Alexander Volkanovski, the featherweight champion of the UFC, offered Murray a brief grappling lesson.
Murray showed that he was skilled in mixed martial arts; if he continued in that direction, there’s little question that he would win a UFC championship.
Volkanovski is aware that mixed martial arts and basketball are not the same. Islam Makhachev submitted him on Saturday at UFC 294 in a knockout.
