Kyrie Irving and Maxi Kleber questionable for Denver Nuggets game

The Dallas Mavericks are facing some uncertainty regarding player availability in their upcoming game against the Denver Nuggets, with both Kyrie Irving and Maxi Kleber listed as questionable.

Irving’s status remains uncertain for the third consecutive game. He had initially been considered questionable before being downgraded to doubtful and ultimately ruled out in the Mavs’ recent victory over the Chicago Bulls.

However, Irving has expressed optimism about his recovery, stating that his foot is feeling “better.” He is diligently working with the Mavericks’ training staff to rehab from his injury while ensuring he maintains his conditioning before making his return to the court.

“I’m doing everything possible to be smart about where my body is,” Irving explained. “Just taking the necessary steps with our training staff to ensure I stay in shape. Dealing with injuries in the preseason isn’t ideal, but it’s part of the game. We want to prevent any injuries from affecting the long-term season.”

Maxi Kleber sustained an injury during the game against the Bulls, leaving the court with a noticeable limp and being subsequently ruled out for the remainder of the match. The Mavericks turned to Dereck Lively II, who delivered an impressive performance in the fourth quarter, contributing seven points, 13 rebounds, six assists, two steals, and one block in 33 minutes.
