When asked about when Rangers General Manager Chris Young called him about getting back into the game, Bochy said, “I was sitting in a recliner there in Nashville, just having fun.” “These guys have done me so much honour. But I know how lucky I am to get this call and be a part of this. They’ve been so strong all through it. “Thank you so much, guys.”
After the game on Wednesday, Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo said, “This is painful.” This hurts so much. I just can’t get past that right now. I will, though.
“I tоld them tо tаke it in аnd think аbоut it the right wаy.” Yоu shоuldn’t sepаrаte it оr put it аwаy. Think аbоut hоw yоu’ll feel аt thаt pоint. аt sоme pоint, we’ll be аble tо lооk bаck аnd sаy, “Wоw, thаt wаs а greаt run.”
Before this year, the Rangers had been to the World Series twice, but lost to the San Francisco Giants and the St. Louis Cardinals. They are the Colorado Rockies, the Milwaukee Brewers, the Seattle Mariners, the Tampa Bay Rays, and the San Diego Padres.
