Following the Thunder’s game against the Nuggets earlier in the week, Jokic was questioned about the 7-foot-1 rookie, who according to NBA.com weights just 195 pounds.

“This is his first year, but he’s a really talented guy.” Jokic told The Denver Post, “He’s still learning everything about the game, how quick it is, where he’s at an advantage, where he’s at a disadvantage.” “I believe he requires experience. To be honest, I believe he needs to gain a little more weight. However, he does possess a special gift.

The media questioned Chet about Jokic’s remarks after OKC defeated the Pistons 124–112.

He said to reporters, “It’s hard to get fatter when you’re not fat.” “Well, you have to start somewhere.”

There will be a lot of learning since, well, I have never played in the NBA, Holmgren stated. “I feel like it’s not one person’s job to do one thing out there, and different matchups bring different challenges and different adjustments tonight.” All five of us put forth a team effort throughout the evening, and I believe that we performed better as a unit tonight, as evidenced by the numbers, I suppose. And we succeeded in achieving the primary objective, which was victory.

Thus far this season, the 21-year-old has averaged 15 points, 6.3 rebounds, two assists, 2.8 blocks, and a steal.
