Tonight, Steph Curry became very popular, and for good cause. For most NBA fans, any day that Dillon Brooks gets cooked is a good day.
Furthermore, Brooks was completely roasted alive by Steph Curry rather than just being cooked.
What made the whole event even more delicious was Steph’s response right after.
Steph Curry led the Warriors to a 106-95 victory over the Rockets after finishing with 24 points, seven rebounds, and six assists.
The Warriors player talked about Brooks and his developing image as the NBA’s top villain after the game.
Curry told NBCS, “We know what he’s about and his reputation.”
“I don’t become entangled in that. I only engage in basketball. It’s clear that you let the game speak for itself.
Specifically, there is a great deal of history with him. You just hoop at the end of the day.
With his remarks spoken in public and his actions while playing on the court, Brooks has only surpassed himself.
When asked about rookie sensation Victor Wembanyama most recently, he replied, “He’s tall; that’s about it.”
Five minutes into his Rockets preseason debut, Brooks was also sent off for shoving Pacers big man Daniel Theis in the groin.
In the future, Curry and Brooks will cross paths once more on November 20, when the Warriors and Rockets play again.
