Taijuan Walker is angry

Taijuan Walker, the Phillies’ $72 million pitcher, is angry that the team didn’t use him at all in the playoffs. The level of disrespect is through the roof.

Taijuan Walker, a pitcher for the Philadelphia Phillies, has publicly criticized the team for not using him in the postseason.

After starting for the New York Mets the previous two seasons, Walker signed a four-year, $72 million contract with the Philadelphia Phillies this offseason.

After going 15–6 during his debut season with the Phillies and posting a 4.33 ERA, Walker sat out the postseason.

Walker wrote on X, “Disrespect is at an all time high #nextyear.”

In addition, he favored certain supportive tweets from his followers.Your manager is the one showing contempt. His lack of trust in you was hilarious, but his poor game choice ultimately cost the Phillies the series. Don’t forget that! enjoy a tweet that Walker found interesting.

That you didn’t get to pitch for us in the playoffs was the ultimate slight in my book. Another one stated, “We appreciate your dedication to the success of your team.”

Walker’s performance on the mound dipped significantly as the regular season neared its conclusion.

He had his lowest September walks-per-nine-innings ratio since 2014 and an ERA of 5.91.

It’s likely that Walker wasn’t used much in the playoffs because of his poor play in the weeks leading up to the tournament.
