It is predicted that the Texas Rangers will win their first World Series. The Rangers are now the favorite on BetMGM after the Arizona Diamondbacks defeated the Philadelphia Phillies in Game 7 of the National League Championship Series to seal the series’ championship.
On BetMGM, the Rangers, who will be playing in their third World Series, are -175. The Diamondbacks, who have +145 odds to win it all, are the team that won their lone previous World Series trip in 2001.
In the Wild Card Series, the Rangers and Diamondbacks began the postseason on the road. They both triumphed in the Division Series as well. The League Championship Series was identical in that both teams needed to win a road game in order to go to the World Series.
The Diamondbacks had +5000 (50-to-1) odds to win the World Series as the playoffs got underway. Out of all the playoff clubs, those odds were tied with the Miami Marlins for the longest. The Rangers had the second-longest odds of any American League postseason club, at +1800.
At first, Corey Seager was the clear favorite to win MVP of the World Series. +500 is Seager. The following players in the odds are Adolis García (+600), Ketel Marte (+900), Corbin Carroll (+1100), and Marcus Semien (+1400).
The Rangers are favored at -150 on the money line in the first game, and the odds are also out. The chances for the Diamondbacks to win Game 1 are +125.
Additionally, BetMGM offers odds on the World Series’ precise series result. With +375 odds, the Rangers are thought to be the most likely to win in six games.
