Savannah James mentioned LeBron’s wish to play with both his youngest son Bryce and his oldest son Bronny in a voiceover for a recent Beats by Dre commercial.

“Then repeat that,” she says, switching Bronny’s visage for Bryce’s.

It has long been known that James wants to play with Bronny. Although it’s reasonable to think that LeBron would also like to play with Bryce, it’s unclear if he is actually attempting to do so given that he would need to play until he is at least 42 years old.

Although there have been rumors of LeBron playing with Bryce, a LeBron-Bronny team-up has received more attention because Bronny was eligible for the NBA Draft two years sooner.

While Bryce won’t be able to sign until 2026, Bronny will be able to do so the next year.

LeBron may sign with whichever team selects Bronny in the draft thanks to a player option he has for the upcoming season.

But according to a recent report from Joe Vardon of The Athletic, those in the know think the Lakers will figure out a method to guarantee that LeBron and Bronny can play together in Los Angeles.

The story also mentions that Bronny’s heart episode in July would cause him to postpone joining the NBA.

“The single biggest factor affecting James’ free agency could be the serious health issue that befell his son Bronny over the summer and potentially delayed his entrance into the NBA Draft,” the article reads.

LeBron’s desire is to play in the NBA with his son Bronny, and it seems like the Lakers are prepared to fulfill that dream.

According to Joe Vardon of The Athletic, LeBron has stated that he would play for any team (aside from Orlando) in order to play with his son, but the Lakers front management wants to keep the family in the area.

Vardon noted, “James could be a free agent next summer if he declines a $51 million player option.” “The single biggest factor affecting James’ free agency could be the major health crisis that befell his son Bronny over the summer and possibly delayed his entry into the NBA Draft. If at all feasible, he would prefer to be able to play with his son on the same team. However, most observers think the Lakers will find a way to ensure that his son plays in Los Angeles, even if Bronny is selected in the draft (he plans to play as a freshman for USC this season).

Late July saw the cardiac arrest of 19-year-old Bronny while he was practicing basketball.

He was found to have a congenital cardiac abnormality, but his recuperation has gone fairly well.

In his most recent statement regarding his oldest son, LeBron stated, “Bronny is doing extremely well.” “In order to rejoin his USC teammates on the court this season, he has started his rehabilitation procedure. He underwent a good surgery and is recovering well.

This summer was quite the whirlwind for our family. The best thing we have, though, is each other, and we have stood by one another through everything, giving Bronny courage along the way. We are excited to see what the future holds for him.

At USC’s annual HoopLA event last week, which marks the beginning of the college basketball season, Bronny made his Trojan debut and was warmly welcomed by the audience.

The next stage will be to make his club debut, although it’s unclear if he’ll be available for the squad’s Nov. 9 opening game.
