Jordan put together a complete three-hit night at the plate, doubling and scoring twice. Jordan has improved his slash line to.333/.333/.444 despite a sluggish start. The native of Alabama and Peoria’s Jakob Marsee are tied for the most doubles on the circuit with six each.

Schwartz was kept in the ballpark after going yard in back-to-back games, but he still managed three RBIs on two doubles. The 2021 fourth-round draft selection has been quite impressive lately. In the last week, Schwartz has slashed.438/.444/1.507 and has safely hit in six straight games. Cook gave Mesa a lead it would not lose with his second home run of the Fall League, a two-run blast. After working a full count, the Pepperdine graduate pounced on a breaking ball that was over the plate and drove it to left center field. His lone hit of the game came in the eighth inning off a bases-loaded walk, yet he still finished with three RBIs.

With 10 in as many opportunities this season, the 2022 sixth-round pick stole the lead in the Fall League by swiping three bases. Furthermore, none of the swipes were really near. He had such good jumps on the others that he easily defeated the throws, and the first one didn’t even draw a throw. Between High-A Fort Wayne and Double-A San Antonio during the regular season, the 22-year-old stole 46 bases, including three in a single game.

Cauley hit his first home run in the AFL, and then one more just to be safe. In the second inning, the lone home run started the scoring, and in the eighth, a two-run single ended the game. Cauley has put together a 1.308 OPS in the last week, following a sluggish start to the fall season. In his professional career, the 20-year-old had gone deep twice in a single game for the second time.

After three hitless games to start his Fall League career, McDonough bounced back by tripling three times and driving in three runs for the Desert Dogs. The 24-year-old finished with three straight two-baggers after walking and popping out in his first two plate appearances. McDonough has 13 at-bats and a.815 OPS in four games.

In the top of the third, Montgomery smashed a triple with the bases loaded, displaying some real power at the plate. With a furious exit velocity of 111.8 mph, the rope emerged as the third-hardest hit ball in the Fall League this season. The top-ranked White Sox prospect launched a sacrifice fly in the sixth inning to get his fourth RBI. With 13 RBIs to lead Glendale, the 2021 first-round pick has had a strong season in the desert, slashing.255/.280/.553.
