I mean, he’s LeBron James, but even so, you have to show respect for the game, man. I don’t mind the guy eating, but he should go to the locker room to eat, and when he returns, be an active part of the team instead of just sitting at the end of the bench munching.”

 

While many NBA fans on social media were supportive of LeBron’s choice, Cooper held a different view.

“Let him eat; he’s been cooking for decades,” one fan commented.

Considering it was only a preseason game, and LeBron might have been hungry, he probably felt it was acceptable. Additionally, LeBron likely adheres to a strict routine when it comes to diet and exercise, so he might not have wanted to disrupt that while also wanting to support his teammates.
