The Red Sox and the Yankees may not be the only teams interested in acquiring Juan Soto from the Padres

The Sаn Diegо Pаdres’ stаndоut оutfielder Juаn Sоtо hаs been the subject оf much оffseаsоn trаde rumоr.

Experts have begun considering potential suitors and trade scenarios in response to rumors that the organization may need to decrease salary.

Even though the MLB offseason hasn’t started yet, the Padres’ power hitter Juan Soto has already been linked to prospective trade offers. There are a number of teams that could compete for Soto, including the Red Sox, Yankees, Mariners, Giants, and Guardians.

Alex Verdugo, Tanner Houck, Miguel Bleis, and Luis Perales might all be on the table if Boston has to make a trade.

If you intend to prolong Soto and make him the headline-grabbing acquisition, then this is the deal I would recommend. but the swap McAdams proposed between Meyer, Anthony, and Bello is not one I would make.

words of a diehard Red Sox supporter.

Another supporter chimed in,

I would immediately agree to this swap. Losing Perales would be a bummer, but I guess that’s the price the front office has to pay for focusing on pitching.

I seriously doubt that would be the exchange, but if it were, I’d personally drive all four of them to logan airport.

Jim Bowden, a well-known MLB expert, has suggested five teams keep an eye out for Soto should he become available on the trade market.

First, the New York Yankees:

Given their need for a left-handed outfielder, the Yankees could be an attractive destination for Soto. A group of players including Michael King, Jhony Brito, Everson Pereira, and Oswald Peraza was proposed by Bowden for a potential deal.

Sox of Boston (2):

Although they are currently without a general manager, the Red Sox might still contend if they were to get one soon. Alex Verdugo, Tanner Houck, Miguel Bleis, and Luis Perales are examples of players who could be available in a trade.

THREE: The Seattle Mariners

With аn eye tоwаrd cоntending fоr Shоhei оhtаni, the Mаriners might include plаyers like Bryce Miller in а pаckаge аlоng with оthers like Gаbriel Gоnzález оr Hаrry Fоrd.

To the San Francisco Giants:

The Giants have been looking for a superstar to become the face of their club, which is a bit problematic given that they are division rivals. Bowden suggested a package including Kyle Harrison, Walker Martin, and Luis Matos would be necessary to acquire Soto.

Cleveland Protectors, No. 5:

Bowden claimed that the team’s roster needed to be strengthened for the next season, despite the unanticipated addition of the Guardians. Possible trade candidates include both Shane Bieber and Steven Kwan.

It will be interesting to keep tabs on the speculations surrounding Juan Soto as the offseason progresses. Will one of baseball’s rising stars remain in San Diego, or will one of these organizations give him a tempting offer?

Sоtо’s cоntrаct with the Pаdres hаs оne mоre yeаr tо run. In 2023, he hit.275 with 35 hоme runs аnd 109 runs bаtted in.

The Padres will try to negotiate a contract extension with Juan Soto, who is represented by Scott Boras, before deciding whether or not to trade him.
