Jokic is unquestionably the best second-round pick in NBA history, and the front office of the Denver Nuggets made the proper choice in selecting him. Jokic also has the record for being the MVP winner who needed the fewest points. They obviously saw his genius, but I wonder if there was a bit of serendipity involved as well.

Agent Misko Raznatovic for Nikola Jokic recently related a story about how Jokic was given a Denver Nuggets sweater as a child in 2000. The Denver Nuggets owned the sweater.
