A harsh letter from Derrick Rose to Ja Morant elicits heated responses from Grizzlies supporters

By season’s end, the Memphis Grizzlies were unstoppably talented. Despite finishing as the second seed in the Western Conference, their immaturity made them unappealing to many clubs. Those who had doubts were disproved immediately after their title ambitions were dashed by the Los Angeles Lakers. Marcus Smart and Derrick Rose are now veterans that Taylor Jenkins has brought in to assist Ja Morant with his on-court responsibilities. One of them, though, has much higher expectations for the budding star player.

During the Grizzlies media day interviews, Derrick Rose delivered a harsh warning to Ja Morant. In his most recent remark, he revealed how he intends to work with the celebrity via Basketball on X.

“I informed him that I’m not here to look after you. My purpose is not to trail you around. No, I’m not here to give advice. The recently acquired veteran of the Grizzlies said, “I’m here to push you.”After hearing this soundbite, fans went crаzy and loved every second of it.

Klay Thompson aims to make All-Star Game return in 2023-24

There was a time when the NBA All-Star game was associated with Klay Thompson. From 2015 to 2019, the Warriors guard was selected five times in a row, but he suffered back-to-back season-ending injuries.

Thompson discussed what it would meаn to him to play in the All-Star Game again for the first time since 2019 during Warriors Media Day on Monday.

That’d be fantastic, Thompson remarked. It’s a goal I have, and I believe I can achieve it. It’s up to me how hard I want to work and how prepared I am for opening night. It’s a goal of mine, and I won’t lie to you. Playing in the All-Star Game is always an honor, and you get used to it. However, you start to feel excluded if you don’t play for a while. This year, I believe it’s in Indianapolis, and I would really like to go.”Being one of the most prolific shooters in NBA history, Thompson is a constant dаnger to assemble a resume good enough to be considered for an All-Star team.

After leading the NBA in 3-pointers made during the previous season, he looks to be in a healthier mentаl state almost two years after making his comeback to the game.

On 47/40/81 shooting, Thompson averaged 21.5 points the previous time he was chosen an All-Star. His scoring average in 2022–2023 exceeded that of 2019, averaging 21.9 points per game, suggesting that going into his age 33 season, his output is at an all-time high.
