Damian Lillard hinted at the biggest mistake of his career

News about the Milwaukee Bucks: Not many people anticipated it. Perhaps one of the last devoted players in the NBA, Damian Lillard was well-liked by the Portland Trail Blazers.

All of that changed a few months ago when the seven-time All-Star expressed his wish to move out of Portland.

Damian Lillard Is A Little Regretful

Lillard acknowledged that he probably wouldn’t have handled things any differently, but he also acknowledged that he regrets the way it turned out:

He said to Marc J. Spears of Andscape, “Just looking back on it, I don’t think there’s anything that I would have done differently.” “I wish there had been better communication at that time to avoid misunderstandings.”Throughout the process, I felt incredibly misunderstood. It’s unclear if there was anything I could have done to avoid the situation. All I can say is that I’m glad I found a circumstance that worked for me. We have a fantastic chance to succeed. I play in another small market with a family-friendly team that has a terrific player on a deep roster.

The Portland faithful, I’m pretty sure, feel exactly the same way. That’s all history now, though, and to be honest, this won’t alter the supporters’ perception of Lillard as a Blazers legend.

A New Home for Dame with the Milwaukee Bucks

All good things eventually come to an end, as they say. Lillard is now able to start a new chapter in his career, one that he looks to win a title for the first time.

Dame claims that despite everything that has happened to him, he is extremely happy with his current situation:

It is a modest setting. It’s laid back,” he remarked. “For my first nine years as a player, I was an assistant coach under Terry Stotts, the former head coach of the Blazers.” We have Jess Cohen, the head sports trainer, in the training room. I’ve worked with him for the past five years. well-known faces. With Robin [Lopez], I played. With Pat [Connaughton], I played. I’m just relieved that it came to an end and I was able to enter a position that worked for me. It’s a place where I immediately feel at ease, and I will have the chance to achieve what my ultimate goals are.

Will Damian Lillard and the Bucks be able to fulfill his high expectations? We’ll find out soon enough.Damian Lillard hinted at the biggest mistake of his career
