New York Knicks are preparing a massive package to acquire Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo

According to news, the New York Knicks are preparing a massive package to acquire Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Giannis Antetokounmpo, a two-time NBA MVP, may become a free agent as early as 2025.

The Bucks could offer him a new deal this year.

There has been some speculation about whether Antetokounmpo will remain a Bucks player beyond 2021, when he will receive his first championship ring.

The Bucks might optimize their return on investment by trading for another player before Antetokounmpo becomes a free agent if they anticipate that he will one day want to depart.

Many speculate that New York will be interested due to its sizable consumer base and wealth of draft assets in the near future.

According to SNY’s NBA and Knicks expert Ian Begley, the Houston Rockets are one team that could outbid the Knicks.

In the future, they will get four guaranteed first-round picks in addition to their own four first-round selections.

, Begley pens.

They have fair contracts with their players. Can they assemble the best team possible using their draft choices? No. New York is no match for Oklahoma City or Houston.

The Brooklyn Nets’ near-term prognosis appears rather murky with the losses of Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving earlier this year, and as a result, the Nets are sending a large amount of unprotected future first-round draft capital to the Houston Rockets.

Trade offers from Houston might include both draft picks and young, quality players.

It’s possible that a Milwaukee team, having likely stepped back from title contention for at least two years, might find high-upside prospects with lesser initial wages enticing.

The hypothetical offer is just one factor that must be considered when discussing a possible trade for an NBA great.

As Begley elucidates:

With the right trade, Milwaukee can influence where Antetokounmpo ends up.

When discussing Giannis, it’s important to keep his potential in mind.

If you don’t think you can sign him, there’s no point in trading for him. If Giannis were to re-sign, would it be with the Thunder or the Rockets? Is Utah not included? I can’t sаy for sure whether or not he would.

The three cities of Toronto, Miami, and New York would be at the top of my list if I were a sportsbook employee today and asked to put together a futures bet on Giannis’ next team.

No trade involving Antetokounmpo appears likely until at least 2024.

The Rockets have to make some noise on the floor next year if they want to be in the playoff Һunt.
