Damning footage of Kepa Arrizabalaga in Real Madrid training has emerged, it’s not looking good
Kepa Arrizabalaga’s workout with Real Madrid is depicted in a damaging video.
The 28-year-old Spanish goalkeeper accepted a one-season loan from Chelsea to join Madrid during the summer transfer window.
Madrid’s starting goalkeeper Thibault Courtois suffered an ACL tear during a drill, which prompted the acquisition of Kepa.
Kepa has been seen on film working out with Los Blancos recently. You may see the video down below.
As shown on camera, Kepa was in goal when his teammates David Alaba and Rodrygo attempted free kicks.
However, the Spanish international was unable to even go close to any of the tries.
In his two appearances in La Liga so far in the 23/24 season, Kepa has kept one clean sheet and only given up one goal.
Robert Sanchez, a fellow Spaniard, joined Chelsea from Brighton and Hove Albion under Mauricio Pochettino as the team’s new starting goalkeeper.
Kepa stated the following in his first interview after arriving in Madrid: “First and foremost, I feel happy and privileged to belong to Real Madrid, a club with such a rich history. Everything happened pretty quickly.
“I’m looking forward to meeting my teammates and seeing the facilities. I want to get started as soon as I can.
“Real Madrid and the Champions League are football history,” he added. I’m hopeful that by working together, we can continue to improve our club’s illustrious reputation by winning more games.
“It’s amazing to see the 14 lined up like that. If you want to make an impact at Real Madrid, you must win. Success has been the cornerstone of this club’s history.
“I usually say that, rather than defining myself, I prefer to let others do so. In addition to being a responsible goaltender and always being there for them, my goal is to provide the defense and the squad a sense of security.
Madrid will play Real Sociedad in another La Liga game on Sunday.
