According to Major League Baseball, the Tampa Bay Rays’ game against the Los Angeles Angels at Tropicana Field on September 20th will be the first ever to be webcast via their virtual ballpark.
Gameday 3D will be used for the interactive experience’s initial test to create a three-dimensional depiction of the game. Fans from all over the world have the chance to log in and witness a three-dimensional simulation of the game in the virtual ballpark.

Gameday 3D immerses viewers in a three-dimensional, totally immersive baseball atmosphere, providing a singular opportunity to see the action live from any vantage point inside the stadium. MLB introduced Gameday 3D earlier this season to provide fans another way to watch some games online.
