‘KING GREEK’ Giannis and ‘The Dream’ will get together before the Bucks open training camp

The revelatiоn frоm Giannis Antetоkоunmpо оn Tuesday was quite shоcking. It’s nоt abоut his cоntract оr his future with the Milwaukee Bucks; rather, it’s abоut hоw he intends tо grоw as a player by learning frоm an NBA legend.

Antetokounmpo stated on the “48 Minutes” podcast that he plans to travel to the south to work out with basketball legend Hakeem Olajuwon.

Everything has been planned, the trip is scheduled, and now we wait to see what the Greek Freak can learn from Olajuwon.

Hakeem is basketball immortality.

Olajuwon, the first player ever selected in the NBA Draft, had an outstanding 18-year run as one of the game’s top centers after being selected #1 overall in the historic 1984 draft.

The availability of Olajuwon, who scored over 21 points per game and grabbed 11 rebounds per game in his career and won two championships with the Milwaukee Bucks, may have influenced Giannis Antetokounmpo to break his longstanding rule against working out with other players during the offseason.

Olajuwon, the NBA Most Valuable Player in 1994, was recognized for his incredible footwork and a series of movements around the rim known as the “Dream Shake.” Defending Giannis in the paint might be a nightmare due to his arsenal of fakes, rotations, and crossovers.

Meanwhile, Giannis’ new head coach in Milwaukee has expressed optimism about working with the reigning MVP.

First-year NBA head coach Adrian Griffin thinks he and the Bucks’ superstar are on the same page when it comes to winning: they want as many victories as possible to bring Milwaukee back to the top of the NBA mountain.

Giannis and I have the same viewpoints. “Things between us have been fantastic so far,” Griffin said to The Athletic. Just like me, he wants to win, and so do I. It was easy to get along with him.In a key season for the Bucks as they try to win their second NBA title in four years, Antetokounmpo has yet to commit to extending his contract with the team. The Bucks’ chances of convincing Giannis that Milwaukee is the best spot for him to spend the second half of his career improve if they are successful with Griffin on the bench.
